What Makes Sumatra Coffee Different?
Imported from the Lintong region of Sumatra, Cooper’s Cask Coffee proudly offers single origin Sumatran coffee beans that capture the unique characteristics of the area. Sumatran uses a wet processing method that involves removing the coffee cherry and washing the beans before partially sun-drying them. What results is a coffee with a distinctly fuller body and lower acidity.

The taste is awesome and I LOVE this coffee!!! I don't typically love dark roast but since I love Cooper's other coffees, I couldn't resist trying it. I expected the typical dark roast with a bitter kick. But, this has a excellent taste profile as mentioned in the description. I definitely taste a bit of the dark chocolate / earthyness. This is my new dark roast!

I needed coffee, but I had a busy weekend so I didn't have time to go shopping for the usual grocery store limited options. I've had the other coffee chain and I wanted to get something new. I wanted to see what Amazon offered, and I searched for an organic, whole bean option with good reviews. I like bold coffee so I decided to try this brand. I had the coffee just this morning, and I was very impressed. I enjoyed every last drop of the coffee, and I had a great morning because of the good coffee I had to drink.

Single origin beans (i.e. not blended) are not always easy to find since many brands blend the beans. Cooper's Sumatra is a great single origin bean, the dark and earthy flavor is hard to miss and is distinct compared to more commercial sumatra coffees. This is my 4th time buying these beans and I would definitely buy them again. If you enjoy good dark roast coffee, these beans are a great investment.
